Excerpts:

Chapter One... The beginning middle and end.

...The music starts - a trippy, psychedelic single note on what sounds like a scratched vinyl record. The note spreads and layers into a chord and chorus of violins and drums. A voice starts to sing... "Hey Mr Chips..." The movie credits start to roll across the screen.  A picture of a 3D waveform zooms into a number of vibrating and rotating stars, and zooms further into what appears to be earth, and then further into a movie theatre in North America someplace where the man on the screen is writing and reading...

"I've written this sometime in the past which is actually now the present to be read and played by me sometime in the future. You see, my whole life I’ve always felt inadequate and incomplete - that no matter what I do it will never be enough. Not enough for my parents, my present wife, my future kids, and myself - myself and my mind -- the inescapable trap, the black hole of energy that sucks happiness out of reality. Growing up I was always the geeky smart kid who tried to please everyone, say the right things, and stay out of trouble...”

Chapter Four... Look How Far our Minds Have Gone - Destiny Calls -

"Can someone really write their own future? Does the American dream really exist? So I guess this is where the story really begins. The separation from reality to imagination, a split in space-time where I write about the future I have yet to live."

Chapter Five... Too much thinking can make you go crazy...

Life is actually controlled by thought… everyone’s thoughts…
(thinking creates action – action creates reaction or manipulation of matter and energy)
Ñ
Everyone’s thoughts are controlled by existence
(chemically and physically)
Ñ
Existence is controlled by physics.
(interaction of matter and energy)
Ñ
Physics is governed by rational and predictable mathematical equations or algorithms.
Ñ
Mathematical equations and algorithms are manipulations and
explanations of human thoughts and rationales.

Not really a tough concept to understand. It’s all true... I talked about it earlier in chapters one and two. Basically – all matter and energy (life) is governed by the laws of physics. The hardest part is to grasp what this REALLY means. Cogito Ergo Sum “I think therefore I am” by Descartes really becomes meaningful – not only in philosophical terms but in scientific models also.

About Look How Far our Minds Have Gone:

I first coined this phrase about a year ago during a deep philosophical discussion with my friend Ron.  We had just finished watching the original Star Trek movie and began discussing how it's funny there have been countless Star Trek inspired books released detailing ship designs, languages, and the physics supporting the movies and the TV shows.  Star Wars and countless other movies and TV shows have had the same success in this regards.  Most science-fiction movies and shows are based on truths or half-truth about currently accepted science models and theories. Because most of the developed world places such high importance on the entertainment industry -- we are bound to prove the movies right in a case where there isn't a lot of support evidence.  Are we just perceiving the truth to fit our current scientific models?

In this short and ever-changing paper, I am going to discuss possible theories of the universe, and how humanities perception of the universe will always be changing.  I asked myself several questions about how conscious thought controls development of the person, nations, and humankind.  Is there such a thing as free-will or is life destined by the interaction of particles which make up the chemicals in our brains and control our thoughts.  These questions lead to a number of others such as - is there conscious life after death?  If the universe is infinitely large; is it infinitely small as well?  What really is a dimension?  Why can't we explain the cause of gravity? What gives a particle such as an electron a charge? What is the difference between truth, perception, and reality?

The Laws of the Universe are Governed by the Observer.
The universe is the paradox of order and chaos. Inherently it is the infinite equilibrium state of dynamic and static.  Thoughts are the ultimate paradigm of matter and energy.  Choice is not an illusion. It is a perception of thought. Thoughts are not chosen; they are governed by existence. Existence is not a choice, but existence may be an illusion. Therefore conscious and unconscious thought is able to manipulate existence and our awareness of it. Existence is a never ending ring.  There is no such thing as history.  The past, present, and future are simultaneous events which are perceptions of the observer.

Most conceptual models of the universe indicate the universe is infinitely large.  Since infinity doesn't have a beginning or end, this must mean the universe is also infinitely small.  This poses some interesting problems to our current scientific models in 2004.  If the particles which compose an atom are infinitely small, then the combined mass of the infinitely small particles must also be infinite.  This means that in every electron or quark there could be a separate universe (whatever that may be) in itself.  This means that every particle at whatever level you look at it could be a microcosm AND macrocosm for everything else.  The universe as traditionally defined could be a macrocosm for a star which is a  macrocosm for an atom which a macrocosm for a smaller particle such as a quark which is a macrocosm for another universe as traditionally defined.   I'm still learning - but everything that I have learned so far about quantum and theoretical physics indicates that this is definitely possible. If space-time can be bent on a large scale by a black hole or by other large masses - why couldn't space-time also be bent around individual particles of matter.  Could this explain gravity?  Maybe gravity doesn't really exist... maybe it is just the effects of electromagnetic forces on an infinitely small and infinitely large scale.  The particles of infinitely large and small scales are vibrating waves of energy.  The definition of the word particle is relative to the observer.

To make sense out of this concept I would first like to introduce some supporting evidence and the history of physics.

As I mentioned this is incomplete. I have several chapters written for this paper > but want to have it completed and coherent before I post anything further on the website.

Peace 2 All.
