"...I would like to see a world where you never have to be afraid. Afraid of telling the truth, afraid of war, afraid of hunger, afraid of loneliness - for this would be heaven on earth."

Conspiracy Theories

There are a tonne of conspiracy theories abound. Some of them are absurd, some of them not. As of January 4, 2007, I am going to start writing about a few I feel of upmost importance due to the impact it has on the everyday lives of nearly everyone worldwide - wether we realize it yet or not.

As is the goal of the Art of Perception website, I believe it is extremely important to look at everything from multiple points of view. In conspiracy theories such as the 9/11 theory below - look at it from both sides and formulate your own theory. I upfront admit I will not be unbiased when writing about certain conspiracy theories, but the information I provide is factual and will usually provide resources for you to look up information for yourself. I will typically write from the point-of-view which has typically received the least amount of attention by mass media. (TV, newsprint, radio) It is up to you, the individual to be vigilant in finding the truth for yourself. We as a human race cannot be indifferent or apathetic to events shaping the world around us. Freedom* is not free, it takes understanding and work by the citizens of the world to stand up in peace against the powers who are attempting to take those freedoms away from us. It is important, as I've mentioned in other parts of this website to understand language. This is why I've *'d the word freedom and referenced it at the bottom of the page. Language can be used to control and program us. ie: Adolf Hitler in pre-World War II Germany used the media and language to motivate the country in unprecedented ways.

When formulating your own theories based on two opposing points-of-view, be sure to always be asking yourself questions, such as: why, who could have or did profit, what are the motivations for each point-of-view and who is behind or backing them, what is the history of the parties involved, the language being used, etc...

September 11, 2001 {9/11}

On September 11th, 2001 (aka 9/11) the US government alleges there were four planes hijacked by terrorists. Two of the planes smashed into each of the two World Trace Center (WTC) towers, another smashed into the Pentagon, and a fourth crashed in Pennsylvania. This attack on the United States has led to drastic changes in national and foreign policy by the US administration. These changes include but are not limited to:

  • War on Terror
  • Increase in Military and Defence Spending
  • Reduction of Human /Civil Rights and Freedoms (freedom of speech, freedom of movement, etc.)
  • War on Iraq

The purpose of mentioning the effects and changes as a result of 9/11 are to help you ask questions as to what people, organizations, or agencies would want these changes to be implemented and why?

Collapse of the World Trade Centers

The planes crashing into the WTC towers led to fires, and according to the official report released by the Bush administration's 9/11 task force - the fires led to a weakening of the steel within the WTC causing a cascading pancake effect collapse.
